Designated Agent
Our designated agent for receiving DMCA takedown notices is reachable at dmca@choordinator.com.
How to file a takedown notice
If you believe content on Choordinator infringes your copyright, email dmca@choordinator.com with:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- The URL or session/tab ID of the allegedly infringing material
- Your contact information (name, email, mailing address, phone)
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
- Your physical or electronic signature
What we do
We review takedown notices promptly. Verified notices result in removal of the specific content identified. Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.
Our stance
Choordinator is a tool for bands and jams to work with charts they already own. We do not scrape charts from other sites, do not generate charts with AI, and do not publish user-uploaded content beyond their private library or the band workspaces they choose.
Counter-notice
If we've removed content you uploaded and you believe it was in error, email dmca@choordinator.com with a statement of good-faith belief that the removal was a mistake, your contact information, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court where you reside (or San Francisco, if outside the US). We'll forward it to the original claimant.
